RESCHEDULED | Mistakes Were Made: Storytelling About Failure

Join Ritija Gupta, AB'02, for live, true storytelling from some of the country's best tellers. Listen to harrowing and hilarious stories of failure!

*Please note: The March 18 event has been rescheduled for April 15. Anyone who previously purchased tickets for the March show will have their tickets honored, and more details will be communicated directly to purchasers.*

"Mistakes Were Made: Storytelling About Failure" is hosted by Ritija Gupta, AB'02, who was featured on NPR/the Moth Radio Hour, also performed at the Apollo Theater, and is a two-time recipient of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Fellowship Award. The show itself was featured on WUSA9.

What is the show?

Audiences will get to hear five true stories of personal failure from some of the best and funniest storytellers in the DC area. As with every "Mistakes Were Made" show, audience members will also have an opportunity to share their own mistake, anonymously if they'd like, for a chance to compete for the evening's "Pug Mug." Mistakes in the past have included answers like, "Throwing out my back while twerking during karaoke," and, "Let a beauty school student bleach my hair because I wanted to look like J.Lo."

Tickets can be purchased here (and for fellow alumni, the code "MAROONMWM" gets people $3 off the ticket price until one week before the show). Doors at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7:00 p.m.
